Roxie was my first Dane. She has never made me regret my decision to get into the world of Great Danes, and she was the epitome of a "Mommy's Girl", making sure she knew where I was at all times.

She started her show career off slowly, but  finished just after turning a year old, under respected judge Virginia Lyne. Her first two times out as a Special, Roxie took Best of Opposite Sex over multiple Breed Winning competition.

At the Great Dane Club of Canada National Specialty in 2012, Roxie went in the ring for the first time in two years in the Altered Class, and took Winners Bitch before taking Best of Opposite Altered under Judge Frank Cresci. She showed like a true "Rock Star", proving once again that she does have a show dog attitude, on her own time, of course.

She took a piece of my heart with her when she passed, doing so the only way she knew how - in grand style, on her 9th birthday. There are no words to describe how much she meant to me, and how hard it was to say goodbye. Sleep softly, my sweet girl, until we meet again....

Roxie was out of Ch ValbyDane ShakeMeUpShakeMeDown by Ch Beau's Master Simbad.

Roxie is missed everyday by myself and her breeder and co-owner, Peggy Mignon.
